I am a retired OB-Gyn Nurse Practitioner and former owner of Artistically Bent, a Short North Gallery. Presently I am in a fun & creative adventure making Art Quilts & painting with watercolor. I reside in Delaware, Ohio with my wonderful supportive husband Jerry and Pier our adorably sweet Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Fabric is amazing. Cotton is my favorite. I can use cotton that already has been dyed or I can dye and/or paint my own. I put the piece together with machine and/or hand stitching, utilizing different colors & weights of thread. I add beads , buttons even animal bones and Lake Michigan Crinoids.

I like to experiment with new ways of combining process with technique. There are endless possibilities!

Subject matter for my pieces range from whimsical to spiritual abstraction. Places, people, canines, emotions in actual or imagined scenarios provide me with inspiration.
